How to Apply

The MIT Professional Education - Career Reengineering Program admits individuals who have the academic and professional background to succeed at MIT-level academic work and the potential to benefit from this program. Students are admitted based on the overall quality of the application.

Application Forms

Prospective students may submit an application by filling out the form online or by printing the form (PDF) then faxing or mailing it to the MIT Professional Education office. Complete applications also include these documents:

  • Two letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with the applicants professional or educational strengths
  • College and postgraduate transcripts or records
  • A resume or career summary
  • A statement of the applicant’s educational and professional objectives (1-2 pages)
  • Participants are also required to attend an information session or schedule a 30 - 60 minute consultation session with the program director.

Information Sessions: Dates are pending. Please submit your information session request if you are interested in being notified about upcoming information sessions.


Tuition

Tuition for 2009-2010 is $10,750 + $272 Student Life fee which will cover both the Fall and Spring semesters ($136 / semester x 2 semesters) . This covers the entire ten-month program including MIT registration (one course) for the fall semester.
