MIT FUTURE CITIES HANDS-ON WORKSHOP
For the first time in Hong Kong, MIT Professional Education brings its expert faculty to help professionals innovate beyond the future, the MIT way. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the mind and hand learning from MIT faculty at EMTECH Hong Kong.
Cities in the 21st century will account for nearly 90% of global population growth, 80% of wealth creation, and 60% of total energy consumption. The building of new infrastructures coupled with a dramatic reduction in resource consumption can improve the livability of dense cities such as Hong Kong, and around the world. To address this challenge, MIT Professional Education brings the "essence" of the popular on campus Beyond Smart Cities course to Hong Kong for the very first time. The one-day immersive workshop will explore holistic models for high-performance urban living through lectures and integrated group exercises, and is led exclusively by MIT experts Dr. Kent Larson and Dr. Ryan Chin at EMTECH Hong Kong.
We invite you to join us in this exciting workshop in Hong Kong on June 6, 2016!
