Procurement
The PSB team includes an arm of the Procurement Department responsible for issuing purchase orders for publishing-related commodities across the Institute. The PSB procurement staff issues all MIT publishing purchases—even when PSB's consultation services are not used. The staff has specialized expertise in the guidelines and requirements for issuing purchase orders and contracts for vendors, including print and web designers, printers, photographers, web programmers, writers, and project managers.
