School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (SHASS) |
date |
October 2003 |
audience |
SHASS students, alumni, staff, and donors; MIT faculty and administrators |
goals |
Give the publication visual renewal. Showcase what is best about SHASS faculty, students, alumni, awards, publications, and programs. Present the performance, writing, and composition areas of SHASS as well as the teaching and research areas. |
strategy |
Reduced the size and changed the paper stock from the previous design to a coated sheet. Created an even balance between the written and visual presentations. Produced clean, crisp photography. |
benefits |
The new design is inviting and engaging, and the design structure allows for increased flexibility from issue to issue. |
