project name |
HST 35th Anniversary event materials |
MIT client |
Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology |
completed |
September 2005 |
audience |
HST faculty, staff, students, and MIT senior administrators |
goals |
Attract attendees to a three-day event "celebrating 35 years from bench to bedside" and create a unified brand across HST's many disciplines in honor of the anniversary.
|
strategy |
Infuse the existing brand with new energy and vitality through the use of exciting and vibrant color palettes, collage imaging techniques, and layered type treatments while keeping a dignified approach. Deliverables included an invitation, program, "last call for registration" postcards, name badges, event posters, giveaway MagiCube and packaging, and large event graphics highlighting HST's milestones. |
benefits |
The event was well attended during its three-day duration. The event identity has been used by HST on a number of other print and communications materials, which will help keep momentum from the anniversary as HST moves toward a capital campaign. |
specifications |
Combination of digitally printed and offset-printed conference materials along with specialty production methods for the creation of large-format display banners for the event site. |
