MIT Protestant Student COMMunity

General Information

Our purpose is to celebrate our Christian community by providing opportunities for worship, study, service, and fun. We are the official campus presence of the American Baptist Church, the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the United Church of Christ and we are also the home of many Christians without a denominational affiliation.

Who We Are

We're a group of students, both undergraduate and graduate, from around the world. We come from all different faith backgrounds--everyone is welcome.

What We Do

We meet every Sunday at 11:00 AM for worship in the MIT Chapel. Chaplain John Wuestneck preaches, and students provide music, reading, and more. During the week, we meet for bible study and choir practice. We try to give back to the community, through our Spring Break service trip, the Charles River Clean-up, and other service activities. We also have events throughout the year just for fun, from our annual retreat in the fall to brunch, game nights, or movie marathons.

How to Join

We invite you to join us for any of our activities. We seek to be open minded and curious about the variety of beliefs in our group. Whether you grew up in the church or are just starting to explore your faith, we hope to see you in the fall!
