We are students first and foremost. And what we put our minds to,
we do well. For the past five years, we have received the Scholastic
Achievement award for most outstanding academic performance among
all 120 international Phi Sig chapters.
Freshman studying hard... Why?

Will Dehagen testing his 6.111 Final Project
In addition to being strong nationally, we excel here on campus as
well. Our wide range of majors brings academic diversity to the house.
Phi Sig boasts brothers majoring in every pure science, all engineering
disciplines, and even some of the humanities departments.

Of course, maintaining a grade point average that is well above
the all-men's average, and one of the highest on campus - a 4.3
on a 5 point scale- requires a lot of support.
As a freshman, it's never difficult to get some expert help from
an upperclassman on any subject. This makes our cooperative, intelligent,
58-man strongstudy group invaluble to a Phi Sig's personal success,
as well as to the overall success of the house.
