Selecting Eligibles

Only students of Mechanical Engineering who meet the minimum GPA requirements are eligible for membership in Pi Tau Sigma. However, this does not necessarily guarantee eligibility. The opinions of faculty and of current PTS members may also be weighed in the decision. Eligible students will be notified by email.

Membership Requirements

Students will be notified by email if they are eligible for membership in Pi Tau Sigma. Then they must do the following if they wish to actually become a PTS member:

• perform a minimum of 10 hours of community service, 5 of which must be for PTS (check the service page for ideas)
• attend a minimum of 3 meetings
• attend initiation
• pay $50 lifetime membership fee
