Epcot Center meta solution

Concept and implementation by Roger Ford.

The fourteen puzzles in Epcot Center are arranged in an ellipse around the Lagoon, which gives an ordering. All are also fourteen letters long. Arrange them in a 14x14 grid and you get:

VICECHANCELLOR
DAGUERREOTYPES
PENTAGONPAPERS
TAPIOCAPUDDING
RUTHLESSTYCOON
BACCALAUREATES
THREECARDMONTE
UNIDIRECTIONAL
COLLABORATIONS
CASHWITHDRAWAL
PARALLELEPIPED
IRREPRODUCIBLE
ATLANTICSALMON
SIXPENCEFORYOU

Read across each of the two diagonals; they spell out VANILLA CARIBOU and STRAWBERRY DEER. These are two fourteen-letter phrases identifying a Neapolitan ice cream flavor and a cervid mammal; therefore they clue the Swedish Chef's password, CHOCOLATE MOOSE.

When teams met with the Swedish Chef, he told them the following:

Ordur dum deesurt? Freshum oot of der Moosen... Instood, eyem a makink Baker Alaskee.

{shaking utensil menacingly} Mooriartee thinkum can take ull dee snoo! Joo must feend der snoo.

{finding spatula} 00f! wot is dis? Not how to makem der Alaskee! Holdem dee for me? Take dee flip-flip!

Oot! Oot! Oot of mee kitchen!

Thus, he (sort of incoherently) (1) told teams to find the "snoo," and (2) gave them a "flip-flip" (a spatula with a grid of holes in it).

The Swedish Chef encounter was written by Joia Hertz, and performed by David Poland and David Speyer.
