The answers to each clue cluster are 31 letters in total. They are placed upon the Lorentzian wormhole grid in the following manner:

The answers to the first batch of clues are entered clockwise around the grid, starting at square #1, until they can't go any farther because they'd run into themselves. At that point, they make a 90-degree turn and run straight down the column. The last filled square is one square below the center circle.

The answers to the second batch of clues are entered clockwise around the grid, starting at square #2, until they can't go any farther because they'd run into the words from clue cluster 1. At that point, they make a 90-degree turn and run straight down the column. As soon as they pass the point that clue cluster 1 ends, they turn again to go clockwise. The last letter is in the same column that clue cluster 1 ran down.

Answers to each subsequent batch are entered the same way, all ending in the same column. Cluster 15 doesn't run clockwise at all because it can't; it runs straight down.

Rings that appear in the same position relative to the center of the grid are identical. For example, the top ring and the bottom ring have exactly the same letters in exactly the same positions. In this way, all the letters (except the ones in the center circle) are checked even though none of the words intersect or overlap. Solvers must use the grid shape and the answer words to figure out this property; that will indicate how words travel in the grid.
