The ship map shows three different types of clues: facehugger clues and Space Marine clues, both of which fade in and out at certain sectors, and alien clues, which move from one sector to another.

Facehugger clues all refer to animals of different types. Each facehugger answer can surround one of the Space Marine answers to form an answer to an alien clue. The alien clue starts in the same sector as its facehugger clue, and ends in the same sector as its Space Marine clue.

For each facehugger, use the Sector number as an index to the alien. Doing so will yield the clue NEW YEAR IN VIETNAM. For each Space Marine, use the Sector number as an index to the alien. Doing so will yield the clue FLOWER'S MALE ORGAN. The answer to these clues are TET and STAMEN. Put TET around STAMEN to get TESTAMENT.
