NORMALVILLE CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
100 Years of Status Quo; It's the Place You Want to Go!

FRIDAY AT 12PM
Commencement Ceremonies
Town Square (Lobby 7)
Join the City Council and your fellow citizens as we usher in Normalville's 100th birthday with a bang! (Bring an umbrella, the forecast calls for showers.)
FRIDAY AFTERNOON AT 6 PM
Special Art Exhibition
Cultural Arts Center (W20-407)
A special set of art pieces has been commissioned for the centennial; join us as these creations are unveiled for public viewing and critical comparison.

[We would appreciate it if each team could bring a food item or (non-alcoholic) beverage to this event. If your team's name begins with a letter from A to M, please provide a food item; N to Z, provide a beverage.]

FRIDAY EVENING AT 9:45 PM
Film Screening
Normalville Theater (26-100)
The Normalville Film Bureau has been working on a historical documentary chronicling our city. That documentary has not been finished yet, so please enjoy a screening of "Garden State." Show up at 9:45 pm before the film starts; staying for the duration of the film will be useful.

["Garden State" is an LSC movie; admission is $3 per person.]

FRIDAY NIGHT AT 2 AM
Cocktail Party
The Neon Sponge (Simmons Hall Multipurpose Room)
Come and enjoy food, drink, and live entertainment from a lounge pianist and some of the city's most puzzling vocalists at a club so cool, you'll never notice all the holes in it.

[Due to space limitations, please send no more than two team members to this event.]

[We would appreciate it if each team could bring a food item or (non-alcoholic) beverage to this event. If your team's name begins with a letter from N to Z, please provide a food item; A to M, provide a beverage.]

SATURDAY MORNING AT 8 AM
Mayor's Breakfast
The Lovin' Spoonful Diner (W20-407)
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and the whole city is invited for a little bit of snacking at Normalville's most popular cafeteria. Get up early, put yourself together and come on by.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT 1PM
Department of Commerce Treasure Hunt
Normalville Mall (Cambridgeside Galleria, across from front entrance, where the Wave stops)
As is our annual tradition, Normalville's Department of Commerce invites the city's best shoppers to come down to the mall and assemble clues hidden amongst the shops and stores.

[Due to space limitations, please send two team members to this event. Also, you may want to bring some scotch tape.]

[Instructions will be given for this event, on site, at exactly 1 pm. The event will begin exactly ten minutes later. If you arrive late, you will be at a disadvantage.]
