A solution of 3.500 L of 0.1200 M sodium phosphate is added to a bucket. The following solutions are also added to this bucket: 100.0 mL of 0.01000 M copper(I) sulfate, 35.00 mL of 0.1000 M iron(III) nitrate, 450.0 mL of 0.01250 M metal(II) chloride, 200.0 mL of 0.02250 M copper(I) acetate. All of the phosphate salts precipitate out. The precipitate is filtered and dried and weighs 2.550 g.

Exactly four grams of an organic oxyhydrocarbon is burned in excess oxygen to produce 2.454 g of water and 3.562 L of carbon dioxide at STP. The molecule’s empirical and molecular formulas are identical. This gaseous organic molecule effuses in one hour, but under identical conditions the gaseous dichloride of an element is found to effuse in 55.3 minutes.

A solution is made from 1.000 g of Na2MO4, and it is titrated with 256.3 mL of manganese(II) nitrate forming both permanganate and metal(III) ions in acid. The manganese(II) nitrate solution was made by placing 20.00 g of its tetrahydrate salt in a 10.00 L volumetric flask and filling it with water.

A photon is emitted from a Bohr ion when an electron falls from the n = 8 level into its n = 6 state. This photon strikes a piece of platinum with a work function 5.65 eV and the photoelectron that leaves has a velocity of 9.287 x 105 m/s.
