Where the Hell is Captain Blastoid?
by Jennifer Braun, with thanks to Graham Wright, Stephen Peters, Kimmerie Dunkel-Jones, Dan Katz, Brie Frame, Michael Cooke, Greg Lohman, and the cities of Boston and Cambridge
Answer: HURRICANE
This puzzle is modeled after the web phenomenon Where the Hell is Matt?. Captain Blastoid is dancing in various locations around Boston and Cambridge, and then the clips have all been shuffled so that the locations are in alphabetical order. They must be re-ordered to their correct position in the song. Each clip has Captain Blastoid dancing with a certain number of people, including herself. Indexing into each location by the number of people dancing gives this message: TRACK SIX ON THIS BAND'S TWO THOUSAND TWO ALBUM. The song playing is "Space" by the band Something Corporate, and the 6th track on that band's 2002 album Leaving Through the Window is HURRICANE.
