Solution to Golden Tower Meta

This is the Atlantis WAR meta.

The map of the Atlantean Empire is isomorphic to the map for the board game Risk. If you take the regions that correspond to a particular continent and rearrange their first letters, you get the name of a country in that continent. For instance, the regions corresponding to South America are Psemius, Eidol, Radix, and Unum, for PERU. The six countries spelled out this way are:

South America (4 territories): PERU
Australia (4 territories): FIJI
Africa (6 territories): GUINEA
Europe (7 territories): GERMANY
North America (9 territories): COSTA RICA
Asia (12 territories): TURKMENISTAN

There are six puzzles in this round, one for each continent. Each puzzle answer matches one of the country names above in length and repeated letters:

PERU → XENA
FIJI → MONO
GUINEA → FLOWER
GERMANY → HIDEOUT
COSTA RICA → BRIDE-TO-BE
TURKMENISTAN → SOLZHENITSYN

Thus, each region on the map has a corresponding letter from a puzzle answer.

The other part of the shell is the results of recent Atlantean sporting matches. To solve the puzzle, look at the pairs of regions involved in the sports matches, and use the corresponding letters from the puzzle answers.

For example, the first result is "Ymirra defeated Amordo". Ymirra corresponds to the Y in Germany and therefore the T in HIDEOUT; Amordo is the A in GUINEA and therefore the R in FLOWER. So the extracted letters for the first result are TR.
