Solution to Workshop Meta Meta

This is a logic puzzle with rules that must be figured out from Dr. N's scrawled notes.

Each word of every meta answer must start at a nozzle, redirect a certain number of times (n-1 times for the nth word of an answer), and end at the wall.

The completed machine looks like this:

The letters on the gray squares spell the meta meta answer: STEAM LAB.
