Wrap-up will take place in Kresge Auditorium at noon on Monday the 15th. We invite you to join us for a fun-filled weekend of puzzles!

Teams and team members participating remotely can watch the Kickoff live-streamed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRvQTy393wY.

Hunt registration is now closed.

If you registered by the deadline for requesting classroom space for your team HQ, you can view your room assignments.

Three hotels around MIT -- the Hyatt, the Marriott in Kendall Square, and the Kendall Square Hotel -- are providing reduced pricing on rooms for Hunt participants. Here are the details for each of the room blocks. When planning your accommodations, please keep in mind that we will be keeping HQ open until 10AM on Monday, January 15.

Sponsorship & Donations

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of the Mystery Hunt, please contact our sponsorship team.

You can also donate to support the Mystery Hunt.

The MIT Mystery Hunt is a free event that is open to all interested participants, and it will stay that way. However, as the Hunt has grown the cost to run the event has also grown. The Mystery Hunt is an ASA-recognized group, and as such we often get some of our funding from Finboard, the Large Events Fund, and other sources at MIT. We also solicit support from corporate donors. Our hope is to help the Mystery Hunt continue to move towards a more stable financial position for the future.

As an MIT student activity, we can accept donations to our operating fund through MIT's donation mechanism. If you would like to donate, you may do so at the link above. Any money that you donate will go into the student group's account and will help defray the cost of this year's Hunt. Any surpluses from this year will roll over to future Hunts. If you or your company would like to make a non-monetary donation to the Mystery Hunt (server space, food for event puzzles, caffeine pills to keep us awake) please email puzzle@mit.edu and let us know how you wish to help. Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you at kickoff next January!
