Abstract

This document outlines a lightweight, responsive application for creating and updating spatial data using mobile devices such as personal digitial assistants (PDAs) and advanced phones. This application is not intended to be a feature-rich geographic information system. It should only support the most important data formats, symbolization options and editing functions required for a mobile worker to execute information gathering tasks.
