Graduate students preparing to graduate should review the graduation checklist to ensure they have taken the necessary steps for completion of the advanced degree requirements. Students who submitted degree applications and subsequently decide not to graduate should contact their departmental Graduate Academic Administrators to have their names removed from the Degree List.
A student must complete all academic degree requirements and clear all financial obligations prior to the Graduate Academic Performance (GAP) degree meeting.
The GAP meeting to review advanced degree candidates occurs three times during the academic year: the second Tuesday in September for students finishing during the summer session; the second Tuesday in February for students finishing in the fall term; and the Monday of Commencement week for students finishing in the spring term.
