A loan deferment letter certifies your enrollment in the current term, as well as every previous term that you have been registered. It is typically used to provide proof of your enrollment to your student loan servicer when you are requesting deferment of a previous student loan. These certifications apply primarily to current students, but are also sometimes requested by recent graduates, and can be produced for any former student requiring a breakdown of his/her enrollment by term. The certification can be faxed or mailed to you or a third party. It can also be held for you to pickup.
