How to Order Loan Deferment Letters in Person

Bring a valid picture ID to the Registrar’s Office, 5-119, open Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Send a request which includes:

Your complete name
Your MIT ID number and/or date of birth
Your MIT degree (if any)
The information you would like included in the certification
Name and address or fax number where you want the certification sent. If necessary, you may choose to have the certification sent via express shipping service.
A daytime phone number or email address where you can be reached
Your signature
