Grades are reported to the Registrar’s Office via the Online Grading System at the end of each term (fall, IAP, spring, and summer) for all subjects including UROP, thesis, and special topics.

The Registrar’s Office distributes summary reports of grades to departments and faculty committees for use in end-of-term reviews of students’ academic performance. The Committee on Academic Performance (CAP) reviews undergraduates and the Graduate Academic Performance Group (GAPG) reviews graduate students.

The grade report is the individual student’s internal academic record. It is accessible online to students and their advisors and departmental academic administrators through WebSIS. The transcript is the student’s academic record which he or she makes available to others. There are significant differences between the grade report and transcript.

Regulations for grades are found in Section 2.60 of the Rules and Regulations of the Faculty.
