
Wellesley Cross-Registration Instructions for MIT Students
Who can cross-register?
Any full-time MIT student can cross-register during the Fall, IAP and/or Spring term.
Where do I begin?
MIT students should list each one-unit Wellesley subject on their MIT Registration Form or Add/Drop/Change Form for 12 MIT units. In addition, students must complete Wellesley registration at the Wellesley Registrar's Office by the Wellesley Add/Drop date (Wellesley College). To register at Wellesley, students will need the yellow copy of their signed MIT Registration Form or Add/Drop/Change Form listing the Wellesley subject(s). Information about Wellesley subjects and cross-registration procedures is available at the MIT Student Services Center, 11-120.
How many subjects can I take at Wellesley?
Full-time students can take up to one-half their total registration (units) for the term at Wellesley.
Where do I find out about subjects at Wellesley?
Wellesley catalog information is available on-line.
By when do I have to do all this?
Students must meet the earlier of MIT's or Wellesley's cross-registration or add/drop/change deadlines and must abide by the rules of both MIT and Wellesley. MIT Academic Calendar. ($40 late fee).
How do I drop a Wellesley subject?
Turn in MIT Add/Drop/Change Form signed by your faculty advisor or registration officer, to the MIT Student Services Center in 11-120 or the Registrar's Office in 5-119. MIT will notify the Wellesley Registrar's Office that you are dropping the subject.
