To contact the Residential Computing consultants with questions or to request assistance with networking or computing in the dorms, please fill out a request at the link above. This link will bring you to a web form that will gather some information useful to the RCCs in resolving problems or answering questions.

If you need to get in touch with the MIT Resnet Coordinators directly, please send mail to the RCC Supervisors

If you are a network administrator for your ILG, or if you have questions relating to your ILG, please send mail ot the ILG Network Supervisors

In addition to the web link and email addresses above, you may also contact the RCCs or ILG network contacts via: x8-9444. This phone number usually goes directly to a voicemail box that is checked frequently. If no one answers, please leave a message and clearly state your name and phone number.

Typical requests that can be directed to the Residential Computing Consultants through the link above:
  • The wired or wireless network connection in your room does not work properly.
  • Request a static IP address for your computer.
  • Request a personal hostname (ie.. username.mit.edu) for your computer.
  • Connect a device to the MIT network that does not have a web browser:
    Voice over IP adapter, Game Console, Tivo
  • Help connecting to or using the dorm printers from your personal computer.
