Residential computing: Hiring
Start at $12.50/hr
Residential Computing at MIT is hiring new consultants

Are you interested in being a Residential Computing Consultant? To learn more about what it means to be an RCC, please take a look at the Residential Computing Consultant description. We prefer to have RCCs principally help people within their own dorm; however RCCs will be expected to cover other dorms when necessary and we will consider applicants who are willing to principally cover other dorms.

No experience necessary

Residential Computing trains each new employee and computing skills are not a prerequisite. We're primarlily looking for people who:

  • Live in an MIT dorm
  • Like working with people
  • Want to learn more about computers and computer networking
  • Can work independently and are motivated
  • Have a proven ability to document work and communicate with their supervisor
  • Have a good work ethic and genuinely want to help fellow residents

If this describes you, please send a resume & cover letter to rcc-hiring@mit.edu(any format - though PDF is preferred). Also please send any questions you have to: rcc-hiring@mit.edu
