The following readings are designed to
augment and complement the information sessions and community discussions that will
take place over the course of the IAP Residence Redesign process. The readings include
historic and current information about the MIT residential system, current occupancy
and demographic information, as well as links to descriptions of residential systems
at some of MIT's peer institutions.
Team participants are strongly urged to review these materials, to discuss them within
their teams, and to draw upon this historic and comparative information in the creation
of their residence redesign proposals.
