Notes on Funding for Residence Programming

For some time, the funding level from MIT included the following:

• Allocation to Housemasters (and through them, the Graduate Residents): $32.74 per resident per year. This goes to all undergraduate residences and Green and Ashdown.

• Allocations to other graduate buildings: approximately $19 per resident per year.

• Residence program support account in our office: $15,000 per year

• Fraternitiey, sorority, independent living group program support account in our office: $14,000 per year

Starting this year, RLSLP has requested an increase in funding to all residences, undergraduate and graduate, to $50 per resident per year.
