Alumni/ae activities are a special joy for me. John Rudy, our MIT Class of 1967 agent, was the key to getting me involved when we were both working together at Raytheon. Currently, I am the class president of what we now understand is MIT's 100th graduating class. At our 25th Reunion back in 1992, several of us planned the first Tech Reunion Challenge Games. The Games, a competition among the returning Reunion classes, have since become a fixture of every Reunion, and a lot of fun to organize each June. In 2017, the Games were renamed in honor of Bonny Kellermann '72 and me and that was a wonderful surprise.

The picture shows Mike Phillips '89 and me receiving an award for the Theta Chi 100th Anniversary weekend on behalf of our fraternity. This was perhaps the most enjoyable weekend that and I have spent at MIT. Currently, Currently I am webmaster of the Association of Independent Living Groups (AILG). I just finished a term as President of MIT Hillel, having served on the board and as Treasurer for several years. A number of us plan regular biannual MIT Men's Basketball Reunions every other February.

The 50th Smoot Anniversary was another "only-at-MIT" event that was a joy to create back in 2008. In the past, I was also quite involved with the MIT Club Of Boston. In 2007, we created the first Annual Science Trivia Challenge, which was a popular event for hundreds of kids every April (except during Covid) before being retired in 2023. Also for a decade, I served as Secretary for my 1969 MBA class at the Harvard Business School, succeeding Joe Levangie, another MIT classmate. I was chair for a our 35th Reunion and my MIT fraternity brother, Dave Dewan (MIT '65) was the chair for an even better 40th. Currently, I am the Class Treasurer for the MBA Class of 1969.

Several years ago, I was a Vice President of the board of the MIT Alumni/ae Association. More recently, I have been a volunteer for the Educational Council, interviewing high school seniors interested in MIT. It is a privilege to meet such fantastic young people, and also to be a host family in MIT's Host to International Students Program.
