The Rho Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. endeavors to give the black community, OUR community, everything we possibly can. Our chapter participates in various community service projects. We tutor young black males in science, afro-american history, math, english, and computers at the W.E.B DuBois Academy in Cambridge. We also hold sex education programs for black teenagers. As always, the brothers of Rho Nu realize the importance of a college education and each year we give scholarships out to Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School students. We recently had a program that taught young black students the value of our environment. This is a new program sponsored by our National Organization called Alpha Earth Initiative. One of our chapter members, Brother Zeno Bain, helped to start this project.

In addition to providing services for our community, the brothers of Rho Nu also hold different events at our respective schools. These events are used to increase the awareness of minority students at our universities. Below are events that we have put together:
