MIT'S PRIORITIES
MIT is a place of extraordinary interactions. It is a place where people and ideas come together in new ways—creating ferment, making sparks fly and fostering intellectual breakthroughs.

No one can predict exactly when or where innovation will take place. But the Institute has identified a number of priorities that require additional resources—to continue excellent work that is already underway, to venture off in new directions and to secure our position as a world leader in ideas and their practical applications.

These priorities drive both The Campaign for MIT, and the Alumni Fund. Although they are presented here as individual need—from students to faculty, from each of our schools to the entire campus environment—these priorities are all part of the bigger picture.

Gifts to support these priorities help MIT move the world forward.
