Dr. Rajiv Gupta, PhD, MD
Director MGH Volume CT Lab

Dr. Gupta is Director of the Ultra-high Resolution Volume CT Lab at MGH and a practicing radiologist. He has degrees in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, and Medicine and has over 15 years of research and development experience at the University of Southern California and GE Corporate R&D Center.

Prof. Slocum leads the Precision Engineering Research Group (PERG) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT. PERG focuses on the design and manufacture of precision machines and components. Prof. Slocum has over 70 patents, numerous design awards, and has helped to start several new high-tech companies.

Conor Walsh and Nevan Hanumara are pursuing doctorates in the Mechanical Engineering Department at MIT. Conor is also enrolled for a Certificate in Medical Science through the Harvard Medical School. Nevan brings to the team industry and design experience and specializes in human factors.

Director MGH Thoracic Radiology
Dr. Shepard has over 26 years of experience in the percutaneous lung biopsy procedure. Dr. Shepard is well respected in the field and has extensively published on the subject in peer reviewed journals.
