International Fair 2001 - Romanian Stand

Friday, April 27, 2001

Sales are going well, under the careful supervision of Claudiu.
Left to right: Claudiu, Camelia si Catalin.

Camelia Turcu selling the Romanian food. She's wearing the traditional Romanian shirt - ie.

Simona was the cashier of the Romanian booth. In normal MIT life, she studies economics. As you can see, she's already very successful!

Catalin is at the merging point of the Romanian traditions (the shirt - ie) and the American ones (the Latex gloves) :)

The RSA leadership is satisfied with the success of the event. Alex, the vice-president, and Claudiu, the president himself!

In an euphoric mood, Ioanid and Claudiu display some Romanian folk art!

Romanian hand-painted eggs. We'll try to sell some at the next year Ifair.

Darko Marinov (Yugoslavia), Alex Salcianu's friendliest teammate. He's learning Romanian at a fast pace. 'Da, bre!'

Camelia Turcu and Ioanid Rosu. For Camelia, this was the last MIT Ifair: she's graduating! We'll miss her!

A couple of Italian dancers. Are they MIT students?

Alex, Camelia, Manolis (Greece) and Ioanid.
