I am a third year PAOC Ph.D. student. My advisor is John Marshall. I am interested in the geophysical fluid dynamics that are responsible for determining Earth's climate—in particular, the role of eddies and turbulent processes in the large-scale circulation of the ocean and atmosphere.

I am an informal participant in the MIT joint program on the science and policy of global change. My office is room 54-1421, on the 14th floor of the Green building.
