athena% olc stock (Choose option 12.) You can also get this reference via the web.

2. How do I forward my Athena mail elsewhere?

athena% chpobox -s "address". (eg. athena% chpobox -s metoo@aol.com)

3. How do I stop forwarding Athena mail?

athena% chpobox -p

athena% add mime
    athena% show ### | metamail -w

You can check your AOL e-mail on the web at http://www.aol.com.

The easiest way to do this is to send it from exmh athena% exmh &.

7. How can i forward an emacs document as an e-mail to someone?

type comp, then use C-x i to insert the file you want to mail into the e-mail.

8. How do I Bcc an email?

Type "Bcc: somebody@nowhere.edu" just after the To: line

9. How do I bring up an e-mail again if there was a mistake and I am at the What now? prompt?

10. How do I save e-mail that I have sent?

You can do this multiple ways:

  • Send a copy to yourself by typing "Cc: " just below the To: line
  • Fcc some mail folder by typing "Fcc: " just below the To: line. For more on folders, athena% olc stock (Option 12).

11. How do I print an email?

athena% show ### | lpr (where ### is the number of the email)

12. How do I renumber my emails so there are no gaps in the sequence?

athena% folder -pack +inbox
