wisdom
black eyed serpent
peering out from behind heavy lids
shrewdest of Godıs creatures
speaks from his lair
voice hushed with sleep
you canıt leave
you havenıt eaten of this tree
forbidden
yet, My God,
you make my mouth water
and I have no knowledge of good and evil
as you weave in, out, and all around me
sweating scales slither across innocent skin
and your branches hold me close
feels like heaven
so I take of your fruit and devour
savoring my sin
and as you flower inside me
fragrant and delicious
my bud of calm bursts
and blossoms
my eyes are opened
