Classical Music Concert Series

Our premier series, series of the classical music concert features Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky, Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky, masterpieces by Prokofiev and Shostakovich as well as world known composers like Bach and Mozart.

Last year, the concerts were performed in the Killian Hall, the MIT's best chamber hall. We thank musicologist Dr. Ludmilla Leibman for her generous and knowledgeable input, which greatly contributed to establishing the Classical Music Concert Series foothold at MIT.

This year, we are proud to hold our concerts in the non-denominational MIT Chapel, built by noted architect, Eero Saarinen and famous of its amazing acoustics. We mention that MIT Russian Club is the only student organization at MIT that is allowed to perform in the Chapel, after careful and rigorous revision of our entire Classical Music Concert Series.
