I'm a fifth year PhD student in Linguistics at MIT, with a BA in Linguistics from NYU. I'm originally from Albuquerque, NM.

I work on syntax, with a focus on subject/non-subject asymmetries, (anti-)locality restrictions and the differences between A and A-bar movement. Previously, I've worked on possession, necessity and (the relationship between) the verbs have and need. I'm also a member of MIT's Language Acquisition Lab.

In my spare time, I like running, climbing rocks, and drinking coffee.
