I'm a sophomore studying Physics and Engineering, and trying to make time for rock climbing and sleep. I love being part of SAFER2 because I am constantly learning from it, and I believe in our approach towards making a positive difference in the lives of present and future MIT students.
I've been involved with SAFER2 since September 2013. I joined because I wanted to change the conversation surrounding sexual assault. It isn't always easy to talk about sexual assault and healthy relationships but the work that SAFER2 does is incredibly rewarding! I love being a part of SAFER2 because it is constantly teaching me more about the person I want to be and how to treat others with respect. Within every group discussion is an opportunity to learn and challenge my previous attitudes. Also, Priya makes great cupcakes :)
I joined SAFER2 in fall 2014 because I want to help promote education about consent and sexual health on campus. I've really enjoyed working with other groups on campus, and collaborating to create a widespread and positive change for the future.
I've been a part of SAFER2 since September 2014. I joined because I feel that one of the best ways heal the sexual assault epidemic at colleges and universities is through education. I love SAFER2's members and how much they have taught me. Our VPR mentors are awesome as well!
I am a 5th year PhD student in History, Anthropology, & STS (HASTS). I've been a part of SAFER2 since its founding in 2012. I am a former Co-President of Graduate Women @ MIT (2011-2013) and was also a GRT in Maseeh for two years.
