Melvin, the class nerd, also wears glasses, but his are spiral @-@. Darien Shields is seen in several pictures wearing glasses as well, but he must need them only to read, b/c he doesn't wear them normally. He too, like Amy, works really hard because he wants to be a doctor.


Funny Scene involving glasses

One cute moment was when the scouts go to a ball to investigate about a crystal; the ball is being held for a lady named “Princess D”. The princess is so sad; no one ever pays attention to her because they think she’s ugly. Then a monster comes and possesses her, the sailor scouts fight it, etc. and at the end Princess D’s glasses get knocked off, and she’s absolutely gorgeous. But she can’t see at all without them and she daintily puts them back on. Then Amy says, “Wait. . . Maybe if Melvin. . .” The rest respond with, "Nah. . ." So, so cute!!!!
