There is a place for cuteness in every part of life. Take, for example, the 6.111 Tektronix oscilloscope. Its probe heads can be fitted with pastel yellow, green, blue, lavendar, or pink plastic pieces, to match them with the signals that appear on the screen, which are also yellow, green, blue, lavendar, or pink, as well as the half-transparent pastel buttons on the machine itself. Compare to the old 6.002 oscilloscopes. Imagine me working in lab, debugging, and stressing out, but the pretty Tektronix oscilloscopes (they can also display Japanese text, by the way ^_^) make my day.

Someone took the extra time to make the oscilloscope design aesthetic as well as functional, and see how big of a difference it makes? Cute things make the world better.
