I went to Asuka, my language partner's apartment on Thursday night. We had a bit of trouble finding each other at the Alewife trainstation, but after that all went smoothly. I am convinced I did not speak a single gramatically correct sentence with her, but it was close enough that she understood, I think. Asuka was such a sweet and hospitable host. She talked about a great many things, and asked me many questions, trying to encourage me to talk. Next week, I am going to bring over knitting needles and yarn and teach her to knit ^_^. In English of course.


Friday was filled with many birthdays. After shopping for Christmas cards and other odds and ends with Victoria, we went with a big group to Nine Tastes to celebrate Max's birthday. Then I went back to McCormick to celebrate Maithilee's birthday, kid style with pizza, cake, ice skating, and a movie. It was my first time seeing Goonies--- it was a great movie!


I sewed a Chococat patch on my back pack. Now my back pack is uber cute, if I may say so myself.


Today I worked. Yet another weekend has passed by in which I have not cleaned my room. Hmm.
