cute (and comfortable) thing of the week
Warning: this just might be much more information than you wanted, especially if you are a guy. If you don't like reading about girly things, please move along =P
i don't normally use my blog as a place to promote products, but i consider this post as a possible public service because maybe lots of other girls have had problems finding bras that are comfortable and cute as opposed to sexy and nearly unbearable (i.e. designed with actual girls in mind.)
i've been wearing a bra for half of my life. and i've tried many different kinds, from many different stores, but they've all had problems. some of them look weird on me, most are uncomfortable on me, and plenty are both. this difficulty in finding a good bra (even in stores where lots of women shop, like victoria's secret) had lead me to believe that my chest must be shaped funny.
but it turns out that aerie, by american eagle (the word play is cute, yes?) makes bras that come in really cute colors and patterns, fit well, and are so comfortable. polka-dotted? striped? with a heart pattern? baby blue? they've got it all. they pay great attention to detailing-- there are little bows on the fronts of the bra, sometimes a little bird shaped charm, a different cute pattern on the lining of the bra, and underwear that matches. their "hannah" bra is the only bra that i've had in my life that i've liked enough to advocate in public. the insides of the stores are cozy, cute, and inviting, the staff is friendly, and it is just an overall nice experience. interestingly, american eagle makes the only two-piece bathing suit that i've found to fit well on me.
well designed, cute products, of ALL kinds, really make my day.
