Withholding Requisition Line Items Pending Changes

If you need to make changes to requisition line items, you may need to contact the creator of the requisition.

As a reminder on why the requisition is being withheld, you may wish to create a memo to yourself in the form of an attachment to the requisition, using the procedure below.

Note

SAPweb users cannot make changes via SAPweb. The only way to edit a requisition is via the SAPgui. The only people who should change a requisition are its approvers and the Procurement Department.

Putting Requisition Line Items Back into Workflow

Once you have opened a line item in your inbox, it is yours to work on and cannot be accessed by any other approvers. In fact, it disappears from all other approvers' inboxes.

Items in process and not available in workflow have a shaded cube screen capture in the Status column. Items you have reserved and taken out of workflow have a cube with a flag screen capture. And items that are ready for processing, available in workflow, have a clear cube screen capture in the Status column. For example:

If you open a line item that needs to be reviewed by another approver, you can put it back into workflow by clicking on the line item and then clicking the Replace button button in the Workflow Toolbar.

Result: The line items now appear in the inboxes of all other approvers in your spending group who have the same approval level as you.
