About This Installer

NOTE: This MIT developed installer does not include MIT's Kerberos preferences. This installer tests for the existence of MIT's Kerberos preferences. If the file is not found, install the Kerberos Extras software from the MIT Software Distribution website.

If you have comments or questions, send them to Business Help at business-help@mit.edu or (617) 252 - 1177 .

WARNING: Downloading over a dialup network connection, such as Tether, will take from 1.5 to 3 hours, or longer. It is not recommended.

Our experience downloading this software installer over Tether has not been encouraging. It generally exceeds one and a half-hours with a 28.8Kbps connection. If you need this software and connecting directly to MITnet is not practical, send e-mail to business-help@mit.edu . We will try to provide a more convenient way for you to get the software.
