About This Installer

NOTE: This MIT developed installer does not include Kerberos for Macintosh software or MacOS Runtime for Java (MRJ). The installer checks to see that current versions of Kerberos and MacOS Runtime for Java are installed on your computer.

If current versions of Kerberos and MacOS Runtime for Java are installed, the SAPgui will be installed. If the installer does not find current versions of Kerberos or MacOS Runtime for Java v 2.2.5 or later, you will be prompted to install the missing software before installing the SAPgui.

Kerberos for Macintosh is available at: http://web.mit.edu/is/help/kfm/ and MacOS Runtime for Java is available at: http://mit.edu/software/ .

If you have comments or questions, send them to Business-Help at business-help@mit.edu .

WARNING: Downloading over a dialup network connection, such as Tether, will take from 1.5 to 3 hours, or longer. It is not recommended.

Our experience downloading this software installer over Tether has not been encouraging. It generally exceeds one and a half-hours with a 28.8Kbps connection. If you need this software and connecting directly to MITnet is not practical, send email to business-help@mit.edu . We will try to provide a more convenient way for you to get the software.
