Employees: Print All Employees HelpPrint All Employees HelpSearch ScreenAs a DLC administrator, you can update personal information for the employees in your org unit(s). Note: An Not Authorized means that you do not have authorization to perform the action. 1. Select the action you want to perform. Tip: Use the Select All (green) button to choose all actions at once. 2. Select the employee(s) you want to update:
3. Select the org unit(s). Tip: Use the Select All (green) button to choose all org units at once. 4. Click Search. The results are displayed on the ESS Administration page. Search Results GridAn employee list is displayed, ten records at a time, for all the actions you selected. Note: An Not Authorized in an Action column means you do not have the authorization to perform the action. A Change (pencil) button means that you do. 1. Scroll through the list tabs on top (first, previous, next, and last) to see all employees within the org units you selected. The white letters indicate that the tab is active. 2. Click the Change (pencil) button in the Action column to update the employee's information. After saving, you return to the ESS Administration page. A green check mark next to the Change button indicates that you accessed or changed the record. 3. Click New Search to return to the Update Personal Info page, or click the Home link to return to the SAPweb Employees tab. Employee Communication DataNote: The MIT e-mail address is published in the MIT online and printed directories, but not the MIT pager and mobile telephone numbers. Use this screen to enter the MIT e-mail address, pager, and mobile telephone numbers. You do not have to enter all fields. The employee's department and position are displayed.
Home Address & TelephoneNote: You have the option to have the employee's home address and telephone number published in the MIT Faculty and Staff Directory. An asterisk (*) indicates a required field. 1. Enter the number and street of the employee's home. Use Address line 2 for additional information such as apartment number. 2. Enter the city of residence. 3. Select the state using the drop-down arrow. 4. Enter the zip code. The country defaults to USA. 5. Enter the 10-digit home telephone number in the format: 000-000-0000. 6. Click the radio button to have the home address and telephone number printed in the MIT Faculty and Staff Directory. 7. Click Save to save your entries, or click Return to Overview to cancel your changes and return to the ESS Administration page. 8. After saving, click Return to Overview to go back to the ESS Administration page. Primary Office AddressNote: This information is published in the online and printed MIT directories. 1. Select the location of the MIT office. 2. Enter or search for the MIT building where the office is located. 3. Enter the room number of the office. 4. Enter the office telephone number in the format: 000-000-0000. 5. Click Save to save your entries, or click Return to Overview to cancel your changes and return to the ESS Administration page. 6. Click Return to Overview to go back to the ESS Administration page. Alternate Office AddressNote: This information is published in the online and printed MIT directories. Delete the Entire Alternate Office Address: 1. Click Delete (above the entry fields). A message appears that the record was deleted. 2. Click Return to Overview to go back to the ESS Administration
page. Enter or Change the Alternate Office Address: 1. Select the location of the employee's MIT office. 2. Enter or search for the MIT building where the office is located. 3. Enter the room number of the office. 4. Enter the office telephone number in the format: 000-000-0000. 5. Click Save to save your entries, or click Return to Overview to cancel your changes and return to the ESS Administration page. 6. After saving, click Return to Overview to go back to the ESS Administration page. |
