What can I do on the Benefits page?

The Benefits page is designed to offer you the flexibility and convenience of using the web to manage your MIT benefits. Each link on the left is described below.

If you are receiving an error message, it may be related to your MIT certificates. Obtain or renew your MIT certificate. If you continue to have problems, review the instructions to Resolve Error Messages to Access SAPweb.

About the Benefits Enrollment link

Use this link to enroll for your MIT benefits.

About the View Your Benefits link

Use this link to display your specific benefits.

About the Tuition Assistance Account(TA) link

Click on Tuition Assistance Account to submit an online reimbursement request or to check the status of your reimbursement requests. Click on the HR Tuition Assistance Home Page for a description of TA services and programs, eligibility requirements, and application procedures.

About the Pension Connect link

Use this link to learn more about your specific retirement benefits and plan for your future.

About the Fidelity netBenefits 401(k) Account link

Use this link to enroll in or review your existing MIT 401(k) Plan on Fidelity's web site.

Confirm Your Beneficiaries

To update your pension beneficiaries visit PensionConnect and click the link under Did You Know?.
To update your 401(k) beneficiaries, visit your profile on Fidelity netBenefits.
To update your Basic and Supplemental Life Insurance beneficiaries, complete the Beneficiary Designation Form. Please send the original form to the Benefits Office by mailing it to MIT Benefits Office, E19-215, 77 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA 02139. Copies can be faxed to 617-253-2694.
