SAS Resources for Professors and Students
SAS provides the following programs and services to college, university, and community college professors/faculty and students to enhance the use of SAS analytics and solutions in teaching and research.
For professors/instructors:
Home Use availability
SAS PC licenses are available for home use as long as an Academic Home Use Amendment is in place for the license. This means that for every PC license the institution holds, they can also distribute at no additional charge a copy for home use (home pc or laptop) by faculty and students. Use of the software must be for approved Teaching and Academic Research purposes.
[Note: MIT doesn't currently have a centrally managed pool of PC licenses that would qualify for such home use. Users would need to contact their department to find out if any such licenses are available departmentally]
