Welcome to the Koch Biology Building!
Directions to the Sauer Lab
We are located in the Koch Biology Building (#68) on the MIT campus at the corner of Ames Street and Main Street, a five minute walk from the Kendall Square T stop (redline subway). The redline subway is the easiest way to get to us as parking can be difficult. Taxi drivers are generally familar with our location too!
However, if you choose to drive you will find parking lots close by.
From the South, take I-93 North to Boston and take the exit marked "Cambridge." After exiting, look for the LongFellow Bridge and cross it into Cambridge. When you cross over you will be on Main Street. Go a block or two on Main Street and make a left onto Ames Street. There are metered parking spots on either side of Ames. Bring quarters! Time limit is two hours. For longer visits, park in the pay lot at Tech Square; continue on Main Street crossing over Ames Street. After crossing the train tracks, make your first right and the parking lot will be on your left.
Enter Building #68 through the set of doors at the Main Street end of the building and make your way inside to Headquarters, 68-132.
(Please register with the receptionist and then make your way back to the elevators and go forward to the fifth floor.)
After reaching the fifth floor the Sauer Lab offices will be directly in front of you.
Brenda Pepe, Administrative Assistant, can help you to locate the lab member you are visiting, or you can contact them from a phone in her office to let them know of your arrival.
