Sylvain Bruni obtained a Master's Degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT, and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Supélec (France), both in 2004. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Humans and Automation Laboratory, in the Aeronautics and Astronautics Department at MIT. His research focuses on collaborative human computer decision making, human interaction with automation and complex systems, network centric warfare and the joint operation of heterogeneous agents. Aside from his academic adventures, Sylvain has been strongly involved with campus life. He is a former Graduate Student Council President and Vice-President, Director and Treasurer of MIT Career Fair, and officer for the Rainbow Coffeehouse. He is currently involved in several community associations both at MIT and in Boston. Further co-curricular activities include large-event planning, community building, and student government and advocacy.
